Chairperson — CBR Africa Network (CAN)

Leading strategic coordination, advocacy, and knowledge exchange across CBR and CBID actors in more than twenty African countries, chairing the International Advisory Board, and preparing the CBR/CBID World Congress, Cairo 2026.

2024 — Present

Africa Representative — CBR Global Network (CGN)

Bringing the African perspective into the global conversation on community-based inclusive development, and facilitating exchange between African actors and their counterparts worldwide.

2023 — Present

Co-Founder — Egyptian Alliance for Inclusive Development

Establishing a national framework bringing together NGOs, organisations of persons with disabilities, and government bodies around a shared approach to inclusive development, and supporting implementation at local level.

Founder — Masarat for Quality Studies

A consulting and training firm specialising in disability-inclusive development: organisational capacity building, programme design, monitoring and evaluation, and professional training for NGOs, OPDs, and public institutions.

Leading one of Egypt's foremost disability inclusion institutions — strategy, partnerships, governance, and resource mobilisation — overseeing programmes including Wosool, Be Productive, Centres of Excellence, and the expansion of early intervention.

Founding the organisation, defining its mission and institutional direction, and building a governance structure grounded in legal and ethical integrity — the foundation of twenty-two years of work.

Managing the early intervention project, contributing to its management strategy, policies and procedures, building and training the professional team, and delivering against objectives and budget.

Working with the first football team on sports rehabilitation and therapeutic care.

Founder & Managing Director — Al Nour Centre for Physical Rehabilitation

Founding and running the centre, designing and reviewing treatment programmes, managing clinical risk, training and building the capacity of dozens of junior physiotherapists, and establishing physiotherapy units for several organisations including Islamic Relief, El Basma Society, and Nidaa Society.

2000 — 2002

Head of Physiotherapy Department — Arab Organization for Industrialization

Leading the physiotherapy department at the Kader Factory in Nasr City: assessing and treating employees, and overseeing the department’s daily operations.

1997 — 1999

Chief Physiotherapist — Military Hospital

Delivering physiotherapy services and providing professional supervision in a high-demand clinical environment.
